Pascal Denault
Our main speaker will be Pascal Denault. Pascal is the pastor of the Reformed Baptist Church of Saint-Jérôme (Québec, Canada), where he has served since 2005. He is married to Caroline, and together they are the happy parents of four children. Pascal completed a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Theology at the Faculty of Evangelical Theology in Montreal. He is the author of books including The Distinctiveness of Baptist Covenant Theology (2013, 2017 rev. ed.), Disciple Today (2024), Two Perspectives on the Millennium (2021, co-auth.), The Dark Side of the Christian Life (2019) and Solas, the Quintessence of the Christian Faith (2015). Over three sessions, Pascal will unfold the kindness of God in his covenant dealings with us, the covenants in redemptive history, and some of the contemporary debates and distinctives in covenant theology.
Mark Fisher
Mark Fisher has been the pastor of Hanney Chapel in South Oxfordshire for the last 12 years. He is married to Miriam, with one son, Benjamin. Converted as a teenager, Mark previously served as an assistant in Heath Church, Cardiff and is a trustee of the Open-Air Mission.
Mark will preach the word for us during our two evening meetings
Natalie Brand
Natalie Brand (PhD, Trinity St David) is a writer, conference speaker and Bible teacher. Passionate about women treasuring theology, she has taught at Union School of Theology, Oak Hill and London Seminary. She is married to a minister and has three daughters.
Natalie will lead the two sessions of our women’s track, looking at passages from Colossians under the theme ‘He will hold me fast’.
Tony Flanders
Tony Flanders was converted aged 18 through reading John Blanchard’s Right with God. He trained at London Theological Seminary, served churches in Lancashire and South Wales, and is now a full-time elder at Trinity Grace Church, Ramsbottom. Tony and his wife Maggie have an adult son.
Tony’s two sessions will help us to think about how we can cultivate a culture of encouragement in our churches.
Steve Auld
Steve Auld is pastor of Great Victoria Street Baptist Church in Belfast, where he has served since 2017. He was previously assistant pastor at Eden Baptist Church in Cambridge and, with his wife Lynsey, was a missionary in Madagascar. Steve teaches at the Irish Baptist College, and is completing a PhD on the preaching and theology of Andrew Fuller.
Steve’s paper will open our conference: ‘The evangelical and affectionate preaching of Andrew Fuller.’
