ANCHORED

Anchored is a study day organised by Reformation Today, open to all who are interested or involved in Reformed Baptist churches across the UK. It aims to bring the Reformed Baptist community together for a careful investigation of our shared theological heritage. We will deepen our understanding of that heritage by studying it exegetically, systematically, and historically, and then apply these truths to our churches today.

In our first two study days, we focused on the doctrine of Scripture and the doctrine of God. For our third day, on Tuesday 21st October 2025, we will be looking at the doctrine of the Trinity. We will use the 1689 Baptist Confession of Faith as our main text, chapter 2.3. From there, we will examine the historic doctrine of the Trinity and will critique some contemporary evangelical views in the light of that and of Scripture. We will aim to understand the scriptural foundations of the historic doctrine and consider what this all means for Christian life and the church today.

The cost for the day is £10, including a sandwich lunch.
