The conference is open to all involved in pastoral and preaching ministry and their wives, as well as all men and women involved in Christian ministry and leadership. The Second London Baptist Confession of Faith of 1689 is the theological basis of the conference.
As well as the formal sessions, the conference provides plenty of time for informal fellowship and relaxation. There will be a bookstall, as well as exhibition stands run by partner organisations seeking to proclaim the gospel and extend the kingdom of Christ across the world.

Dr Peter J. Williams
Our main speaker will be Dr Peter J. Williams, the Principal and CEO of Tyndale House, Cambridge. Peter was educated at the University of Cambridge, where he received his MA, MPhil, and PhD in the study of ancient languages related to the Bible. He is a member of the Translation Oversight Committee of the English Standard Version. His books include Can We Trust the Gospels? (Crossway, 2018) and The Surprising Genius of Jesus: What the Gospels Reveal about the Greatest Teacher (Crossway, 2023). Peter will bring three sessions on the reliability of the Old Testament.

Elly Achok Olare
Elly Achok Olare is a pastor in Kenya. He preached and taught the prosperity gospel for 17 years before God opened his eyes to sound biblical doctrine. He regularly holds Reformed conferences in Kenya and founded the Wisdom Training Centre there to teach biblical truth and counter the errors of the prosperity gospel.

Linda Allcock
Linda Allcock works at The Globe Church, London and teaches theology in several networks and seminary courses. She has 25 years of ministry experience, a master’s in theology, and is the author of Deeper Still: Finding Clear Minds and Full Hearts through Biblical Meditation, and Head, Heart, Hands Bible notes.

James Mildred
James Mildred is Director of Communications and Church Engagement for CARE, and an Elder at Trinity Road Chapel in Wandsworth. James has previously served as an intern at Grace Church, Yate and worked in Scottish politics. James’ two sessions will explore our responses to the challenge of abortion and assisted suicide.

Stéphane Simonnin
Stéphane Simonnin is pastor of Ealing Road Baptist Church in Brentford and lecturer in New Testament Greek and Church History at London Seminary. He has worked as a solicitor in London, and served in Baptist churches in Italy. Stéphane will open the conference with his paper on Tyndale and his English New Testament.
